"Thoughts give birth to a creative force that is neither elemental nor sidereal. Thoughts create a new heaven, a new firmament, a new source of energy, from which new arts flow. When a man undertakes to create something, he establishes a new heaven, as it were and from it the work that he desires to create flows into him. For such is the immensity of man that he is greater than heaven and earth."
-- Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim (Paracelsus)
Those who have visited recently will remember a message of heartbreak, loss of passion, blindness to inspiration and a desperate need of seperation from a world I truly thought was not mine. Truth was, SCD was written almost seven years ago now. SCD is a part of me, a dream, an extension of self. While there may have been fuel for this side of SCD, the original fuel of the novel was pain of execution, neglect and abandonment.
I was driving the other night with John and his girls when the oldest asked me, "What happened to your comic? I went there the other day and it said it was down?" When you do things like this you never realize that you're not doing them for yourself. "Do you see what you've done? How many people were just finding you and you took it away? There's your Rally right there." Rally was the closest thing I had to a daughter for those who don't know. She may never run again because the first reason I tore this site down.
The text you're seeing now is from the person who wrote Star Cross'd Destiny seven years ago. I'm not an artist. I'm a writer. While that may not make any sense to some of you I will simply say that this site is not dead but under construction. It needs to be weeded out, rebuilt, new pages replaced, etc. It needs to be solid if it continues. It also may be replaced with my other novel. But there will be something here. I'm still seeing static so I cannot draw but I guarantee you when I can, I will.
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, yet with stranger eons, even death may die."
I think not.
So when it does start:
