The rain is pouring down on me
washing away my tears
Rinsing away my pain in darkness
dead for so many years
I am Ebony
a corpse with crimson wings
Shadows hide me
My heart in silence sings
Rain so heavy it masks the thunder
No sound but the deafening roar
My heart and soul are rent asunder
I have no memories but yours
I am Ebony
the white face of death is mine
You see me at the water's edge
the life I take is thine
My dreams of death are evident
still yet you turn away
But now I've trapt you with my gaze
and I beg you, dear one, stay
I am Ebony
A nightmare more or less
You know not what fate you take
My true name you'll never guess
Your hand upon the water's face
I am queen of life and death
I offer you  my dark embrace
and steal you life's last breath

I'm open to cryticism and comments. I write mostly for amusement and for thereputic reasons but I enjoy sharing it with people as well.
