WEIRD.

She took my gloves.

Granted, it's not the first time over the last 6 or so years that Juno's design has been the way it is - but this is almost too irritatingly close. :/

Mistype - thought about it last night - 9 years that Juno has been the way she is.

And I owned her gloves once. Man, I miss those.

Well, whether they intended to rip this site off or not will probably never be known but we can end this here.

Even if I had proof that they copied Juno's character design and partial plot of SCD I doubt a publishing house our size could even match up to a tenth of their legal power.  And I honestly doubt someone in their writers group is that desperate or that dumb to steal a decently established story and its elements.

This looked to be a one issue thing.  I don't read Spawn so I wouldn't know.

Now if they ever try to accuse ME of stealing, that'll be a whole 'nother battle.

Discussion closed but the thread will remain open.

The art on the cover page looks like it was done with Poser.  I suggest this because of the akward hand placement, something that Poser figures have yet to get right in nearly a decade.  Other things suggest it too, the strange bulge of the visible knee, the flattening of the thigh near the chest, the weird manner in which the right arm twists.

It's one thing for artists to use Poser as a base, it's another thing when it just screams "POSER WORK!!"

I've seen worse I suppose, there's a cover of Star Wars: Legacy that is so obviously using Poser it's funny, it's sorta like: "was this the best you could find??"

Rather ironic that a program that's supposed to assist artists in improving the quality of their work is called, "Poser".

That is a decently strong resemblance, I'll give it that, but I don't think it's anything more than that.  Granted, I don't know if it's coincidence or not, I think there is a definite difference in story and characters that is apparent just from those first two glances.
