spa: I was asked yesterday by by the burger overlord if I took my job seriously..and if it's something I really want to do. I was told that I do a good job but I just don't really seem into it. I told the lady that she was right and that it wasn't something I see myself doing for long and that she was paying me to do a job, not to do a job and kiss ass. I don't think that was the answer she was looking for.

SPA: Well, it's happened. I hath been unleashed on the younglings. Or to put it more clearly: I have been hired as an English teacher and now I spend my time teaching 10th, 11th and 12th grade. 10th and 11th are from an art division class and 12th is from a mechatronic division class.

spa: As of yesterday, for the second time in my life, I have been officially "internally displaced" by a hurricane. We've been living in an apartment without a roof or ceiling for weeks now. ...It was really nice of my complex to tell me after everyone else that we have be out by the 30th. The problem is that it's the fall semester and all the apartments are filled with LSU students already. This time around there's no FEMA trailers though. Thank God... I'm still on medication from all the respiratory effects of the formaldehyde poisoning from the last one. I'd go to some other city, but I have to stay here at least until December so that I can graduate.
I should have seen this coming. Fate has decided that I'm not meant to stay anywhere for more than a few months, regardless of how hard I work to make it otherwise. Maybe I should just take my laptop and tablet, jump on a boat, and never stop moving for the rest of my life. Then at least I wouldn't have false delusions about knowing where I'll be tomorrow or the next day.
It might be fun.
