Posted this in the Ikkicon forums:
In August I emailed him [mediagallery] because I'd put a down payment on a table last year, and got a pretty quick reply. Sent in a form and the rest of my payment as he requested.
On 10.30.08 he sent out this email to 22 artists:
I must apologize for not getting back with most of you sooner. Work had me tied up but, now im good for a quicker response. I wanna start out by saying if you have received this email, that means you are paid, or we received payment for IKKiCON[3]. If you have any questions feel free to ask anything you like. Thank you for being apart of the Ikkicon 3 Artist Alley.
That's the last I heard from him! D: I found his online handle but he doesn't seem to use any conventional chat programs, at least under that name.

CRAP ON A STICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had my reciept in my money bag for a year and after a kon my mom counted my money to get deposited into the bank and i think she threw it away!!!! CRAPPPPPPPPPP.....but they should have the copy of the reciept....

HOLY CRAP!!! someone at ikkicon answered me!!!! it's amazing!!! i went ahead and e mailed the person taking care of the art show and this person responded to me SUPER FAST!!! but didn't have the info but will find out who is responsible for me.....mabye? JUST MABY? we can finally get some sign of life?

Haha that's funny. I talked to that person as well (they invited me to participate in Ikkicon's show, and I asked if they could answer AA questions, but they said it wasn't their dept).

does anyone who's going to Ikkicon need a place to stay? My group is kinda hoping to find a 4th person to help pay for the room. We have a room for Friday and Saturday night at the con hotel. We're coming from Plano/Dallas and staying at a motel (most likely) on Thursday night.

Just a heads-up: it appears that the Ikkicon AA is barring buttons and t-shirts with fan art on them, but bookmarks and prints are OK.

Buttons? what's wrong with buttons? i can understand if you vector or sell art that is not your own. mabye that's what they mean is that don't put anime picures on a buttons? cause i can't imagine why that would be an issue.

Mm I see. Thanks for mentioning that, I missed that part of their forum until now. I'm not a big fanartist but a lot of my sales come from fanart, buttons in particular, bummer. Will keep an eye on that post... Has everyone who is going gotten confirmation of some kind, other than a check clearing? Someone on the Ikkicon forums posted in the last couple of days saying something like "yay confirmations are out", but I never heard anything (Not Surprising considering I was ultra-last minute about sending in my stuff).
