I THINK I did everything like a good girl and am paying the right amount of taxes....



So, My house is the listed "outlet," because that's what I was told to use as the physical business address.
But if I leave it at that, trying to pay, I pay ARLINGTON'S local tax. There was an "add jurisdiction" option, so I went with that and added Dallas's city jurisdiction (but not the MTA. I... don't know if I was supposed to add both.)

I wrote "0" in the Arlington location's Local Tax line, and the amount taxable in Dallas's local tax line. It gave me a number. I paid it.


Dear god somebody tell me that's all there is to it for this.
(I'm on quarterly, and I have no more sales for this quarter, so I went ahead and filed)

1. You are supposed to do the MTA also.
Example: For us, internet sales to others in Texas are taxed at State level + Harris County MTA (no city taxes in Spring, TX).
2 miles down the road it would be State + City of Houston + Harris County MTA

For A-Kon, it works out to
State + City of Dallas + Dallas MTA = 8.25% total


Just wanted to make sure:
This quarter doesn't end until September 30
   (A-Kon is on this quarter)
Last quarter ended May 30.
You won't be selling again until at least October?
